Anarkali

Anarkali is a classical charachter in the Indian Literature. The charachter has been played by multiple actresses including Beena Rai, who made a winning pair with Pradeep Kumar who starred as Salim to her Anarkali. The film became a major hit in the 1950's.

The film is an adaptation of Imtiaz Ali Taj’s 1922 play Anarkali.
