Before Rajesh Khanna, Bollywood did not have a superstar. In fact, superstar Amitabh Bachchan once rightly tweeted “the word superstar was invented for him, and for me, it shall ever remain his, and none other’s. He made his fans swoon with joy, with his trademark dance moves, superhit songs and his gait. He even made the humble Guru kurta iconic! We relieved ‘Kaka’s’ best-remembered moments through the mural we painted of him, complete with his sparkling smile and soft eyes, hidden behind his quintessential dark glasses.
